Home is where the heart is
Akshay, the youngest of my cousins. I could literally
go on and on about this little guy and his cheeky smile. Oh, and did I
mention those beautiful eyes of his? If you look closely, you can see
my reflection in his eyes, oh what a boy! I couldn't help but notice his
naughty smile and not click a photo.
I sat on the bench and continued my conversation as I watched
him trot away. He turned around and smiled a toothy grin at me, his hair
chopped short and his brown eyes looking right back into mine. Honestly one of
the sweetest, cheekiest and most caring boys in my life!

Max Brenner Chocolate Bar
I stood gazing at the well-known banner on the upper part of the shop, featuring the word “Max Brenner”. I opened the door and entered
the bar, warm air welcomed me with the smell of coffee,
mixing the smell of chocolates and cakes. The baristas stood in front of me,
smiling an amicable smile and welcoming me to the shop. The first attraction
for me was the baked foods, they were tidily placed on the transparent glass
cabinets, lined up and waiting for me to eat them. We flipped open the menu and
I started salivating immediately. The staff took our orders; we got the
receipt and head of to pick a table.
The menu was pricey, but if you have a sweet tooth, you definitely won't be disappointed. So be prepared to run up a good bill because you'll want to try everything on the menu! You'll leave with a wallet that’s lighter, and you'll be a bit heavier but it’s so worth it however! Mb has a large selection of hot chocolates and creative specialty cocktails.
My Cappuccino arrived within minutes in an adorable "hug mug", which made it easier to drink from. The shape and size of the mug is designed perfectly for a nice warm hot chocolate or cappuccino.

The
menu is very different and unique, but they still have a lot of the standard
"go to" items. But, make sure you always save room for dessert, because
that is where the best flavors come from. For dessert, the options are endless
and it was very difficult to make a decision. Again, it is a big menu with a
lot of variety. I am a chocoholic so this place is my sanctuary.
Vintage photographs and quotes placed around the walls of the shop which creates a warm and perky mood
The smooth
steamed milk surfed in my mouth and the drink tasted very dense and creamy. The
sound of chatters and laughter blended harmoniously with the background music.
The taste of the Cappuccino and its bubbles twirled around my tongue, and my
cappuccino smile smothered in bliss. Max Brenner is definitely a chocolate lover's dream!
About the girl behind the camera
She's a little shy, she's a little strange, fun
loving and extremely adventurous. I consider myself a
strong, open minded and direct person. I can seem quiet and shy towards most
people, but once I get comfortable I'll never STOP blabbing! I'm
extremely bubbly, very sociable AND one very outgoing person.
Now, enough about
me!.... Lets get started with the main reason as to why I'm here.
So, what good is it
to take photos if nobody is ever going to see them? It is for this reason
that I've started a blog. Like artists who paint or poets who
write, photography to me, is a way to express
myself.
Photography is such a wonder for me, it allows me to express
feelings, exhibit creativity and construct beautiful scenes
using the real world.
Before I got into photography, I would walk past
trees full of colors, beautiful bright flowers, look at snow
covered mountains, see someone's face with tons of character, and honestly, I
did not pay attention to any of those details. It was not until I started
capturing photos and seeing the beauty on my screen, that I began to see
details and colors in a completely new way. Once you start noticing the small details,
you start realizing how much beauty you’re surrounded by.
Every day is filled with it—in the most ordinary/unexpected
places. I feel like I have missed out on so much over the
years.
Photographs are worth a thousand words, and in most
cases, even beyond words!
“The camera has always been a guide, and it’s
allowed me to see things and focus on things that maybe an average person
wouldn't even notice.” ― Don Chadwick
Through pictures, I capture the beauty that surrounds
me and through this blog, I share those wonderful sights to the world.
Photography has changed the way the world sees me and the way I see the
world.
I hope you enjoy gazing at my small collection, and do let me know what you all think!
