Here
are the answers to questions I get very often. If you have any more
questions that I haven't answered here or you’d like to know, feel free to ask!
Q. Where were you born? Where are you from? Where are
you now?
I reside from a small state in the South-west
region of India, known as Kerala. I was born and brought up (partially LOL) in
Ernakulam, moved to New Zealand at the age of six & then to Australia. I
currently live in the capital city of Australia known as, Canberra.
Q.Is
Archie your real name?
No, Archie’s
just a nickname I’ve had since primary school – wow, so long ago yet it feels
like it was just yesterday! Living abroad with a name like mine I’ve realized
that many of my peers, colleagues & teachers had/have really struggled with
pronouncing the name ‘Archana’, Archie was a name one of my close friends
came up with, and it’s followed me ever since.
Q. What languages do you speak?
I
speak English – lol, an obvious answer, I know, but still, I thought I’d
mention it anyway. I learnt Spanish & French in year 7 & 8 but that was
too long ago, I only remember a few of those things now. I also learnt German
in year 10 & 11, still pretty confident with that though. And, last but
not least, Malayalam- my mother tongue, which I can speak fluently. I can’t
write in Malayalam but I’ve been learning how to read, I’m gradually getting
better at it! Oh, and also Tamil & Hindi (mildly) but that’s from watching
all these movies!!
Q. When is your Birthday; what is your star sign?
My
Birthday is in April, on the 21st and I’m a Taurus girl!
Q. How tall are you?
I’m
fairly short LOL, shortness runs in our blood! I’m 5’2”.
Q. Who takes the/your photos used in your posts?
First
of all, in case you didn’t know or hadn’t noticed, I love posing in front of
the camera but also clicking from behind it.
All of the photos I’ve used in my posts are clicked by me, except for
one or two. And if they’re photos of me, those ones are usually clicked by
brother with his DSLR.
Q. What is the meaning of your name?
Archana is a
Hindu name which means honoring/praising in Sanskrit, it’s also the name of a
Hindu ritual
